A source of mercury will be found in upper mountainous areas of northern United States. Mercury will be used to detect vibrational changes in earth's movement and will be helpful in predicting tidal waves and earthquakes.

The election results in November will bring a new storm of controversy over voting machines. The representatives/manufacturers of the machines will be interrogated about inequities in the qualities of the voting machines in different states.

The "Freedom Fighters" of Afghanistan will overturn military rule/power in Afghanistan. This event, in late summer, will bring an increase to the level of violence and destruction in that country. President Bush will increase U.S. military presence and restrict trade agreements with countries believed to be in support of subversive measures in Afghanistan. Approximately 3000 troops will be moved from Iraq or other areas to quell disturbances.

Meat products will come under scrutiny in regard to the procedures for the testing of meat for biohazardous material and environmental toxins.

Fuel/Oil companies will be required to allocate 75% of their research money towards alternative fuel sources. Automobile manufacturers will be required to build cars that emit 20-30% less toxic/noxious/environmentally destructive fumes than they currently do. This should be in place by March 2010.

Be at peace. Prepare your dwelling place with symbols of love. Surround your hearth and home with visions of plentitude and abundance. America is coming to a time of inner vision as a country. We will share this vision with others. We will learn from our mistakes and not take for granted what the universe has given us so generously. The time is coming when we will be asked to look at our past and to change what can be changed for the future.

Two weeks ago my 17 year old niece died in a senseless and tragic car accident. The car she was driving was stolen and she was trying to out run the police. Apparently the police lost her but she continued to drive at speeds up to 110 miles per hour. She launched off of an off-ramp, got airborne, and flew over a divider and landed upside down in the parking lot of a hotel. She wasn't found for 30 minutes when a security guard came upon the accident. How could this have happened and not be heard by someone in the hotel? I know the family will probably never get all the answers but maybe you can shed some light for us.

I am so sorry for your loss! Here is what Ish was able to access from this sad event:

Your niece knew she was being followed and felt death near her. She was running away from her past and when she stole the car it was on impulse to escape her reality. She tried to make sense of what she had done in the past but the pieces did not fit. By the time she got in the car, she had no idea where she was going-she just needed to get away

The car may have changed directions in slight movements while in the air. We believe the car landed at an odd angle and the air "whooshed" out of the windows which may have muffled the sound of the impact a bit. The car may also have rolled a little ways before the final landing which also reduced impact sounds.

Security at the hotel was light, and there were not too many employees in view of accident site. The sound of the crash was discordant but your niece may have tried to hold onto the steering wheel, and that may have also changed the course of the fall and the impact sounds.

But the main reason for the delay in spotting the accident was lack of security and employees on site. In addition, traffic noise may have muffled /masked the sound as well. People in the neighborhood expect loud sounds and often do not check out sounds due to the fears of what they might see when they do.

All magickal objects should be cleansed and charged for positive use before working with them.

There are a number of ways to cleanse a crystal. You can sage it, leave it in sea salt for an hour or so, or run it under water. You can also blow away negative energy with your breath by visualizing the energy leaving the crystal as you blow on the crystal.

There are also several ways to charge a crystal. You can blow on it and visualize positive energy and light flowing into and around the object. When you do charge your crystal, do so under the full moon as well as with the power of the sun. You can also charge your crystal by sleeping with the crystal under your pillow and/or carrying it close to your body.

It is always a good idea to learn about the properties of your crystal. There are lots of excellent reference books that will provide you with a wealth of information about your particular crystal. Some of these texts will tell you how often you need to cleanse and charge your crystal. I personally cleanse and charge my crystals after each magickal use. But remember to listen to your inner voice-it will tell you when and what method of cleaning and charging will work best for you!
